About:

Sustainability, natural materials, traditional techniques and craftwork are the most important ingredients of my work. I am a fine woodworker. I love to choose the right timber for each piece of furniture and make the wood and it's story an integrating part of the design. The project I dream of for the future is to design a healthy, creative and diverse working space in Italy, a wood farm with a focus on the whole process “from the tree to the finished product”. I'm interested to work with wood from its source in the forest, in cutting down the trees at the right period of the moon, in milling and then drying the boards in the most gentle way. In the form of furniture the wood get's a second long life. Meanwhile new planted trees get the chance to grow old and close the cycle of sustainability. I'm learning, it's a long term experiment.

• 2016  Natural Building Certificate at Yestermorrow Design/Build School in Vermont, USA
• 2016  employed as a furniture maker at the workshop Linea Ätärna in Malans, Switzerland
• 2015  Masonry Restoration Workshop with Thea Alvin in Domodossola, Italy
• 2015  internship with artist and furniture maker Ross Annels at the Cooroora Insitute in Cooroy, Australia
• 2009–2014  apprenticeship with completed Federal Diplome as a furniture maker at Stahl&Traumfabrik AG in Zurich, Switzerland
• 2008–2009  internship at the theater Schauspielhaus Zurich with focus on Stage Design and Requisites
• 2008  internship at the Opernhaus Zurich with focus on theater plastic and sculpture
• Since 2007  working at the annual festival Theater Spektakel in Zurich, Switzerland
